 is saying about Grant High graduate Gilbert Arenas Gilbert Jay Arenas Jr. (born January 6, 1982 in Florida[0]) is an American professional basketball player currently with the NBA's Washington Wizards. Arenas overcame his modest NBA debut, including being a second-round draft pick, to establish himself as one of the most :

He will have sizable adjustments to make in his game, but he has unlimited potential.''

The Waves also have commitments from basketball players Will Kimble, Robert Turner, Kristen Bowden, Shandrika Lee and Shannon Mayberry. Kimble is the lone forward. Turner and Lee are guards, and Mayberry and Bowden are centers. None are from the area.

Golfers Randy Creighton and Kate Waggoner also have signed with the Waves. Creighton is from Las Vegas and Waggoner hails from Littleton, Colo.
