TORY toff David Cameron is even more loaded than I realised.

The combined family wealth of the Old Etonian and his lady wife is put at a whopping pounds 30million by the compiler of Britain's rich list.

No wonder the fifth cousin twice removed of the Queen tries so terribly hard to pose as Dave Of The People. The most aristocratic Tory leader since Alec Douglas-Home, four decades ago, recognises extreme privilege is an electoral handicap.

All it will take to finish him off is a single snap of a tweedy Cameron shooting Bambi on his stepfather-in-law's Scottish estate.

Citizen Dave has, I hear, launched a charm offensive to woo Britain's Jewish community. Yet he can't unmake history, even if the one-time TV spin doctor tries to reinvent himself.

Under the gaze of Oxford's dreaming spires, he pratted about as a tail-coated Edwardian gentleman in the university's Bullingdon Club. The upper class society admitted only boys from the most expensive private schools, par ticularly Eton. Banned were women, grammar school lads and, um, Jews.

The Jewish community may find his charm somewhat offensive.
