CHARLES McBRAYER ELECTED TO TRICONEX BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Charles W. McBrayer, 44, has been elected a director of Triconex Corp. (NASDAQ: TCNX), Irvine. McBrayer has been the company's chief financial officer since March 1986. His election increases the number of Triconex board members to six.
 Previously, McBrayer was chief financial officer of CXC Corp., Irvine, a telecommunications manufacturer. He was formerly vice president, finance and administration for the Systems Group of Pertec Computer Corp., Marina del Rey, Calif.
 McBrayer received his bachelor of arts degree in business administration and his master of business administration from the University of Houston.
 Triconex Corp. is an international leader in fault-tolerant triple modular redundant (TMR) safety and control systems used in critical applications in the chemical refining, oil and gas production and electric utility industries. Since 1986, the company has sold more than 750 systems at more than 150 plant sites in 35 countries on six continents.
