CHARLES M. BLISS RETIRES FROM KELLOGG COMPANY BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 BATTLE CREEK, Mich., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Charles M. Bliss, a member of the Board of Directors of Kellogg Company (NYSE: K) since 1980, today announced his retirement from the Board.
 Mr. Bliss, retired chairman and chief executive officer of Harris Trust and Savings Bank, has chaired the Board's Committee on Social Responsibility and has served as a member of the Executive Committee and the Finance Committee.
 "Charlie Bliss' financial insights and his perspectives on a broad range of business and social issues have been very helpful to the Board during the period of substantial growth for Kellogg Company," said Arnold G. Langbo, Kellogg Company chairman of the board and chief executive officer. "We thank Charlie for 13 years of dedicated service and wish him the very best in retirement.
