CHARITY STROLL IN SEFTON PARK.A MISTLETOE mistletoe, common name for the Loranthaceae, a family of chiefly tropical hemiparasitic herbs and shrubs with leathery evergreen leaves and waxy white berries. They have green leaves, but they manufacture only part of the nutrients they require. March FriendshipWalk will be held in Sefton Park on Sunday. The charity 5km stroll will be in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign Breast Cancer Campaign is the only charity that specialises in funding independent breast cancer research throughout the UK. It aims to find the cure for breast cancer by funding research which looks at improving diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, better understanding how it . Registration for the walk, which starts at 11am at the Cricket Club, is pounds 10 for adults and pounds 2.50 for children. The fancy dress theme is festive and each walker is encouraged to raise sponsorship for taking part. The top fundraiser will receive two tickets for a horseracing day at Haydock Park in 2010.
