We will be launching a redesigned look for the Valley News print edition. Even the name will change. The masthead mast·head n. 1. Nautical The top of a mast. 2. The listing in a newspaper or periodical of information about its staff, operation, and circulation. 3. will go from Valley News to valleynews.com. In addition to print sections in the Southeast, Southwest, Northeast and Northwest quadrants of the Valley, on Oct. 5 we'll be adding a print edition for the Burbank/Glendale community. Another important change is that the print edition will be delivered on Thursdays starting Oct. 5, a switch from the Wednesday delivery you've seen for the past year. We have been hard at work to create a fresh new look. The print section will look unlike any other part of the Daily News. The idea is for it to be colorful, easy to read and include as much citizen-submitted content as possible. I know I am looking forward to seeing a print edition arrive on my doorstep that reflects all the great things that are happening online on valleynews.com. I hope you enjoy it too. |
