Blackpool v Plymouth Marcel Seip is eligible to play against his parent club and Ian Evatt may return from a hamstring injury. James Chester (knee) is ruled out and Krisztian Timar is likely to be recalled to defence.

Bristol C v Peterborough Liam Fontaine (ankle) is ruled out and Christian Ribeiro (groin) is struggling.

Tom Williams is doubtful with an ankle injury and Paul Coutts is likely to miss out with a foot problem.

Cardiff v C Palace Ross McCormack could return from a hamstring injury. Kevin McNaughton could also feature after an ankle problem.

Stern John, Freddie Sears and Claude Davis could all return, but Victor Moses is doubtful with a thigh injury.

Doncaster v Barnsley Loan signing Simon Gilett is likely to come into the side. Brian Stock, Adam Lockwood and James Coppinger are ruled out, while John Oster and Quinton Fortune are suspended. Bobby Hassell is ruled out with an Achilles problem, but otherwise the Tykes should be at full strength.

Ipswich v Swansea Alex Bruce should have recovered from a groin injury.

Gorka Pintado faces a late test on a thigh injury and Joe Allen will also be given the chance to prove his fitness after an ankle problem. Guillem Bauza (knee) and Albert Serran (ankle) are likely to miss out.

Leicester v Derby Aleksandar Tunchev (knee) is the only absentee.

Dean Leacock is doubtful with a hamstring problem, but Jake Buxton and Kris Commons could feature, having played in the reserves this week.

Middlesbrough v Watford Emanuel Pogatetz (hamstring) is doubtful. Caleb Folan (hamstring) and Chris Riggott (ankle) are both ruled out. A late decision will be taken on Heidar Helguson's calf injury, but skipper Jay DeMerit is still out with an eye infection.

QPR v Preston Ben Watson and Martin Rowlands are both banned. Hogan Ephraim (ankle) and Matthew Connolly (glandular fever) are unavailable. Callum Davidson and Paul Parry face late tests on their hamstring injuries.

Scunthorpe v Sheffield U Rob Jones is expected to have recovered from a hamstring injury, while David Mirfin have shaken off a groin injury.

Strikers Jamie Ward, Ched Evans, Richard Cresswell and Darius Henderson are all out and Chris Morgan is also doubtful.

Sheffield W v Coventry Owls boss Brian Laws has no new injury concerns.

Sammy Clingan is out with a broken toe and Marcus Hall is ruled out for family reasons.

West Brom v Reading Jerome Thomas is back from suspension and Luke Moore could feature after injury.
