LANCASTER - Fourteen people are running for seven Lancaster seats and two people for a Rosamond seat on the Antelope Valley This article is about the Los Angeles County region. For the census-designated place in Wyoming, see Antelope Valley-Crestview, Wyoming.

Ballots are available only to chamber members and must be received by the chamber office no later than 5 p.m. April 16. The terms run through 2005.

Candidates for the Lancaster seats are: Gary Bell
    Wilbur Gary Bell (born November 17 1936 in San Antonio, Texas) is a former Major League Baseball relief and starting pitcher with four teams in his career, but most notably, the Cleveland Indians from 1958-1967.
    , Gordon Elder Jr., Lori Goodell, Larry Grooms, Phil Kincaid, Andy Leachman, Kevin Sanders Overview
    Kevin Sanders was born on October 9, 1982 in Dekalb County, Georgia and grew up in Conyers, Georgia. He is the drummer of the five-member American pop rock band from Conyers, Georgia that formed in 2004, called Cartel.
    , Bob Sandres, Gil Rojas, Sandy Smith, Patti Stubblefield-Guinn, Jan Tantangelo, Russell Williams and Kevin Younkin.

    The Rosamond candidates are Sherri Dumin and Richard Levinson.

    Bell is owner and chief executive officer of Gig-2-Me Music & Video. He has lived in the Antelope Valley for six years.

    Elder is the owner of Precision Chiropractic chiropractic (kīrəprăk`tĭk) [Gr.,=doing by hand], medical practice based on the theory that all disease results from a disruption of the functions of the nerves.  and has been an Antelope Valley resident for 26 years.

    Goodell is owner and chief executive operator of Goodell Management Consulting and has lived in the valley for 30 years.

    Grooms is editor of Avenue Commerce Technologies/avlife.com. He has lived in the valley for 16 years.

    Kincaid is president of AV Air Conditioning, Heating and Plumbing and has been a valley resident for 47 years.

    Leachman is the membership manager for Costco and a teacher at Antelope Valley College Antelope Valley College is a comprehensive community college located in Lancaster, California, USA. It is operated by the Antelope Valley Community College District, with a primary service area of 1,945 square miles covering portions of Los Angeles and Kern counties. . He has lived in the Antelope Valley for 10 years.

    Sanders is president of Creative Concepts Advertising Specialities and has been a valley resident for nine years.

    Sandres is a sales consultant for ADT (Asynchronous Data Transfer) A transmission technique used in ISDN PBXs that dynamically allocates bandwidth. See also abstract data type.

    Rojas is a business development officer for Wells Fargo Bank and has lived in the valley for 26 years.

    Smith is executive director of the American Cancer Society American Cancer Society,
    n.pr established in 1913, this national volunteer-based health organization is committed to the elimination of cancer through prevention and treatment and to diminishing cancer suffering through advocacy, scholarship, research,
     and has been a resident for 24 years.

    Stubblefield-Guinn is a home mortgage consultant with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Loans. She has lived in the valley for 28 years.

    Tantangelo is owner of J&J Limited and has lived in the valley for 14 years.

    Williams is senior producer for Adelphia Communications and has lived in the valley for 20 years.

    Younkin is vice president of sales and marketing for the Lancaster JetHawks and has lived in the region for seven years.

    Dumin is assistant vice president and branch manager of Antelope Valley Bank in Rosamond. She has lived in the valley for 40 years.

    Levinson is president of Wizard Gaming Inc. and co-owner of Diamond Jim's Casino in Rosamond. He lives in the San Fernando Valley San Fernando Valley

    Valley, southern California, U.S. Northwest of central Los Angeles, the valley is bounded by the San Gabriel, Santa Susana, and Santa Monica mountains and the Simi Hills.
