 CHAMBERS ACQUIRES FOUR PENNSYLVANIA HAULING COMPANIES
 PITTSBURGH, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Expanding upon its well established collection and hauling base in western Pennsylvania, Chambers Development Company, Inc. (AMEX: CDVA, CDVB) today announced that it has acquired the assets of four western Pennsylvania collection companies. They are:
 Queen Reduction, Inc. of Monroeville, Allegheny County; Long Trucking Inc. of Waynesburg, Greene County; Mostoller Refuse Service, Inc., of Somerset, Somerset County; and Goshey Refuse Disposal of Ebensburg, Cambria County. Terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed.
 "We are pleased to expand the company's services into Greene County, another market area of Pennsylvania, while building upon existing operations in western Pennsylvania," said Steve McCarthy, Chambers Norther Region vice president. "All four companies represent an outstanding business opportunity for expansion in those market areas."
 Queen Reduction Company has been in business for 27 years and will be operated by Chambers' North Huntingdon operation.
 Long Trucking, Inc., of Waynesburg represents Chambers first operation in Greene County. The 12-1/2 year-old company provides service to Waynesburg and will be operated as a part of Chambers' William H. Martin subsidiary in Washington County.
 Mostoller Refuse Service of Somerset, Somerset County, founded in 1982, will be operated as a part of Chambers Southern Alleghenies Disposal subsidiary in Somerset County.
 Goshey Refuse Disposal of Ebensburg in Cambria County, will be operated as a part of Chambers' Mainline Sanitation subsidiary in Portage, Pa.
 Chambers Development Company, Inc., headquartered in Pittsburgh, is a leading environmental firm offering services in recycling, transfer station operation and landfill development, as well as the collection, transportation and disposal of residential, commercial, non-hazardous industrial and medical solid wastes.
