Prior to affiliating, a significant savings was realized in the pharmacy and medical/surgical areas. The MedAssets HSCA program also offers information technology and an e-catalog application to reduce supply chain costs further by enabling members with contract details and reporting tools that furnish data for decision support and efficiency measurement.
