CH Energy Group Subsidiary Invests in Regional Wind Projects.

), has committed to invest up to $5.5 million in a joint venture with Community Energy, Inc. that will own two wind farm projects in the Mid-Atlantic region with other investors:

The plant is expected to be in operation by the end of 2005.

Central Hudson Enterprises' ownership will represent a minority interest in the projects.
