CFO Publishing Takes Home Nine ASBPE Awards; CFO magazine and CFO.com garner national and regional honors.

With five national awards and four regional awards, the Boston-based CFO Publishing family was also among the most honored publications at the June 24, 2004 ASBPE National Awards of Excellence banquet held last night at the Pyramid Club The Pyramid Club is a nightclub that has been located in the East Village of Manhattan, New York City since 1979, which helped define the East Village scene of the 1980s. The club is located at 101 Avenue A in Manhattan.  in Philadelphia.

The individual National and Northeast Regional Awards won by CFO, CFO.com, and CFO-IT are as follows:

National:

This is the first year that CFO's website, CFO.com, has received honors from the ASBPE. In addition to the three ASBPE awards it took home last night, CFO.com Deputy Editor David Katz was recently honored with the prestigious Excellence in Financial Journalism Award from the New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 State Society of Certified Public Accountants Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

An accountant who has met certain standards, including experience, age, and licensing, and passed exams in a particular state.

CFO itself has won many previous honors from the ASBPE, including 2003's Magazine of the Year.
