Brantford is a city located on the Grand River in southwestern Ontario, Canada. This single-tier municipality was once part of Brant County.
, Canada, a division of Crane Canada Co., a Crane Co., announced the addition of no-lead casing and machining to its bronze facility in Brantford.

"We are able to cast, machine, and subassemble with short lead times--currently producing to release on a three week lead time basis-with total reject of less than 0.02%," said Tim Butcher Tim Butcher, (born 1967 in Warwickshire, UK) is an English journalist and author.

He was educated at Rugby School, and Oxford University.

He is the author of Blood River - A Journey to Africa's Broken Heart, an account of Butcher's personal journey across the Congo,
 CFMS.

The foundry will use alloys that substitute bismuth bismuth (bĭz`məth) [Ger. Weisse Masse=white mass], metallic chemical element; symbol Bi; at. no. 83; at. wt. 208.9804; m.p. 271.3°C;; b.p. about 1,560°C;; sp. gr. 9.75 at 20°C;; valence +3 or +5.  for lead. These changes will be in effect by this summer. CFMS produces bronze castings via green san molding.
