In the research labs since the 1980s, MEMS devices began to materialize as commercial products in the mid-1990s. , and Semiconductor industries. CFD Research Corporation will use the Simulation Modeling Suite as a base technology to develop easy to use simulation modeling for CFD and thermal applications that are tightly integrated with the user's design environment.

"Simmetrix provides the meshing functionality to support simulation modeling of complex physics in a unique environment based on direct access to design geometry," said Karlheinz Peters, Vice President of Software Operations at CFDRC. "This innovative approach provides us with a firm basis for efficiently building our advanced simulation applications tightly integrated within our customer's design environments."

"CFD Research Corporation is well known in the CAE (1) (Computer-Aided Engineering) Software that analyzes designs which have been created in the computer or that have been created elsewhere and entered into the computer.  industry for advanced and innovative simulation capabilities. We are very pleased that they have chosen the Simulation Modeling Suite as the basis of their next generation products," said Joe Walsh

"The combination of the simulation modeling capabilities provided by the Simulation Modeling Suite and the analysis capabilities of CFD Research Corporation should provide their customers with an effective tool for integrating advanced simulations into their design processes."

About Simmetrix Inc.

Simmetrix Inc. is a leading provider of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  component technology for Simulation-Based Design and CAD/CAE CAD/CAE Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Engineering  integration. Customers are simulation modeling software developers that provide a broad range of analysis applications including mechanical, electro-magnetic, fluids, and MEMS simulation. Simmetrix' flagship product A primary product of a company, which is typically why the company was founded and/or what made it well known. For example, MS-DOS, Windows and the Microsoft Office suite have been flagship products of Microsoft. CorelDRAW is a flagship product of Corel Corporation.  is the Simulation Modeling Suite, a comprehensive set of toolkits to support Simulation Modeling directly from solid models providing problem definition, attribute management, and automatic mesh generation Mesh generation refers to the practice of generating a polygonal or polyhedral mesh that approximates a geometric domain. The term "grid generation" is often used interchangably.  with support of mesh curving, mesh adaptivity, and anisotropic Refers to properties that differ based on the direction that is measured. For example, an anisotropic antenna is a directional antenna; the power level is not the same in all directions. Contrast with isotropic.  boundary layer mesh generation. The Simulation Modeling Suite generates meshes and simulation attributes suitable for finite element, finite volume, and boundary element analysis directly from design data. Simmetrix also provides custom Simulation-Based Design engineering solutions for manufacturing corporations and advanced research and development services related to simulation modeling and Simulation-Based Design. Simmetrix, founded in 1997, has offices in Clifton Park, NY, Plymouth, MI, and Clarkesville, GA. For more information, visit the Simmetrix web site at http://www.simmetrix.com.
