In the fiscal year 2002-2003, Northern Ontario CFDCs assisted 411 businesses with financing, dispersed $19,400,097 in business loans and provided 359 businesses with assistance through the CFDC business counseling service. An estimated 957 jobs were created and/or maintained through the program. In the 2003-2004 fiscal year, ending March 2004, 440 businesses received financing, with a total of $18,285,532 in loans dispersed and 231 businesses received assistance through CFDC business counseling services.
