CFCF-Videotron agreement; the court of appeal will study Cogeco's appeal on Feb. 1.


MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 1996--CFCF INC inc - /ink/ increment, i.e. increase by one. Especially used by assembly programmers, as many assembly languages have an "inc" mnemonic.

. (MoSE/ToSE:CF) The Chief Justice met with lawyers for the two parties Tuesday morning and granted the request for a hearing by preference made as part of Cogeco's appeal.

Acknowledging the urgency of the case, the Honourable Chief Justice Michaud assigned the hearing of the appeal to Feb. 1 to a panel of three judges from the Court of Appeal.

For its part, CFCF has promised to do nothing before Feb. 9, 1996, that would render a possible shareholders' vote moot An issue presenting no real controversy.
