The annual workplace giving campaigns. including the Combined Federal Campaign The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is a program allowing certain charitable organizations to solicit contributions from employees of the Federal Government of the United States. (CFC CFC See: Controlled foreign corporation ) and United Way, allow Americans to put their money where their hearts are, continuing this nation's tradition of service to the less fortunate. The DAV Charitable Service Trust helps support a variety of programs that improve the lives of disabled veterans and their families. Choosing to contribute to the Trust allows you to make an investment with a life-changing return. Donations help provide transportation for sick and disabled veterans to and from VA medical facilities; food, clothing, shelter, and other needs for homeless veterans and their families; and therapy and rehabilitation rehabilitation: see physical therapy. for severely disabled veterans. "We know there are many worthy organizations out there for you to support, but it's important to keep in mind the sacrifices disabled veterans have made to the freedom of this country," said Charitable Service Trust Chairman Richard E. If the Disabled American Veterans The Disabled American Veterans, or DAV, is an organization for disabled veterans that helps them and their families through various means. It currently has over 1.2 million members. The DAV was controversial during the 2006 election cycle.
