CEYX Technologies Names Jim Day Vice President of Sales and Marketing; Veteran Executive To Spearhead Strategic Initiatives in DataCom, Display and Sensor Business Segments.

Coronado is across the bay.  -- CEYX(R) Technologies, Inc. today announced that Jim Day has joined the company in the newly created position of vice president of sales and marketing. Reporting directly to CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Carol Fuller, he will be responsible for developing market initiatives and increasing revenue growth for the company's Smart Light Control(TM) solutions.

Day brings over 20 years of high-tech industry experience to the organization, having managed sales and business development for a variety of successful organizations. He has worked with several early stage companies in helping them define and develop market opportunities while building sales strategies that resulted in early customer wins.

Prior to joining CEYX, Day managed sales efforts for wireless application services See ASP and Web services.  at Pacific DataVision, a leading innovator of instant voice Internet messaging platforms. Previously, he was vice president of channel development for Praja, Inc., vice president of business development for SkyDesk, and held sales management and business development positions with Softbank/Ziff-Davis and Andersen Consulting (Accenture).

He earned his MS degree in Telecommunications Management from the University of Colorado's Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program The Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program (its acronym is ITP) is a part of the University of Colorado at Boulder and offers graduate degrees in telecommunications: a Master of Science in Telecommunications and a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications.  (ITP ITP - Intent to Package ).
