) Wednesday announced that despite the company's restatement of earnings for the year ended Dec. 31, 1995, and the quarter ended March 31, 1996, the outlook for continued strength in revenues and earnings remains intact.

 president and chief executive officer, stated: "This restatement was a one-time correction of an error in the way revenues were recognized for a major commercial project during these periods. Proper controls have been established to eliminate the possibility of its reoccurrence."

CET's current contracted backlog is above the $100 million level, the highest in the history of the company and more than $500 million in commercial and government proposals are currently outstanding.

CET has recently been awarded several government and commercial projects including a $7.5 million contract for a major commercial mining operation, a $5 million multi-year contract by the U.S. Department of Transportation, a $3.2 million contract by the San Francisco International Airport Coordinates:

, and a $2 million contract by the Port of Tacoma A major gateway to Asia and Alaska, the Port of Tacoma is a leading North American seaport, handling more than $35.6 billion in annual trade and nearly 2.1 million TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent container Units) in 2006. .

These contracts are expected to provided significant revenues for the third and fourth quarters of 1996. In addition, CET is continuing to focus on the development of more profitable business sectors including water treatment and emergency response.
