) today announced revenues of $12,995,880 for the first quarter of 1996 compared to $6,665,529 for the first quarter of 1995, an increase of 95%. First quarter net income totaled $489,149 compared to $381,948 a year ago, an increase of 28.1%. Earnings per share remained even with the first quarter of 1995 at $.10 per share; weighted average shares outstanding increased to 5,072,993 for the first quarter of 1996 as compared to 3,677,044 for the prior year period as a result of the Company's initial public offering on July 18, 1995.

 ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES, INC., "The first quarter brought many exciting developments at CET including the establishment of CET's first international office, located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The division is capitalizing on the enormous need in Brazil and throughout South America for municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment. These expanded services are indicative of CET's continued focus on business sectors that provide sustainable profitable operations. Initial revenues from this operation are projected for third quarter 1996."

The Company continues to reinvest in growth and infrastructure. According to Mr. Davis, first quarter bidding activity was significant and CET is readying itself for its next phase of expansion. Earnings and business opportunities from most of CET's regional offices have continued to increase as corporate backlog is at its highest level in Company history.
