 CERIDIAN NAMES ROGER HANDBERG EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
 MINNEAPOLIS, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Ceridian Corporation (NYSE: CEN)


announced today that Roger Handberg has been named executive vice president of the corporation.
 The company also announced that in addition to continuing to head Computing Devices International (formerly the Government Systems Group), Handberg has assumed operational responsibilities for Empros Systems International. Don Powers, vice president and general manager, Empros Systems International, will report to Handberg. Empros Systems International is a leading systems integrator serving electric utilities worldwide.
 "This action recognizes Roger Handberg's accomplishments as president of Computing Devices International, as well as his increased operational and strategic role within Ceridian," Larry Perlman, Ceridian president and chief executive officer said. "Roger has been and continues to be a positive force on the senior management team."
 Handberg, 57, has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He began his Control Data career in 1963 as a design engineer and since 1988 has served as corporate vice president and president of Computing Devices International.
 Handberg serves on the boards of directors for Computing Devices Company, Ltd.; the Electronics Industries Association Government Division; and the National Security Industrial Association. He is also on the Defense Electronics Editorial Advisory Board.
 Ceridian's Computing Devices International is a preferred supplier of electronic systems, systems integration and services to defense and civil government agencies worldwide. It is recognized as a leader in electronic information systems for avionics, fire control, space, signal processing and other defense and aerospace applications.
