CEREMONY PLANNED FOR 9-11 VICTIMS `TIME TO REMEMBER' TRIBUTE TO RECOGNIZE NATION'S HEROES.

BURBANK - In observance of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorism attacks, those who died and the heroes who emerged from the tragedy will be remembered during a special public ceremony next month.

``A Time to Remember'' will be held at 7 a.m. Sept. 11 at the Burbank Fire and Police headquarters, 200 N. Third St., and include a tolling of bells, a moment of silence, the laying of four wreaths and patriotic music.

``We believe it is important to observe this day that has changed the course of our nation's history,'' said Burbank Mayor Stacey Murphy. ``The morning's events will provide time for reflection as well as a recognition of the heroes that have emerged over the past two years.''

In the United States, Patriot Day occurs on September 11 of each year, designated in memory of the nearly three thousand who died in the September 11, 2001 attacks.

Among those who died in the attacks was Dr. Yeneneh Betru, a physician from Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center is a hospital in Burbank, California, USA. The hospital has 455 beds, and is part of Providence Health & Services. It's adress is: 501 S. Buena Vista St., Burbank, CA 91505.  who was killed in the plane that crashed into the Pentagon.

Last year, hundreds of local residents attended the event and signed a giant postcard that was delivered to New York City New York City: see New York, city.

Four memorial wreaths representing police, fire, military veterans who died in conflicts in the past two years and civilian lives lost will be placed at a bronze statue known as ``The Guardians'' in front of the police and fire headquarters.

Music will be performed by the John Burroughs High School John Burroughs High School is a public high school located in Burbank, California. Emilio Urioste, Jr. is the current principal. The school was built in the 1920's, but wasn't established as a high school until 1948. The school was named after naturalist John Burroughs.  choir.
