Vereen is the president, treasurer and chief executive officer of Riverside Manufacturing Co. in Moultrie, Ga., and related subsidiaries -- one of the largest private manufacturers of uniforms with sales in 50 states and 185 countries.

Vereen has also served as an industry advisor on Textile and Apparel Tariffs and Quotas to the U.S. State Department, and he has a long and varied involvement with national and local educational foundations related to the apparel and textile industries.

Vereen is a 1963 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology Georgia Institute of Technology, in Atlanta, Ga.; coeducational; state supported; chartered 1885, opened 1888.
