"The combination of low-cost carriers entering Latin America and the Caribbean and oil prices exceeding $50 a barrel is a double headache for established carriers," Bell said. "We see in the U.S. what the rise of low-cost carriers and the cost of jet fuel are doing to profitability. U.S. carriers have resorted to deep structural changes to survive. It will be interesting to learn from the panelists what they are doing to handle these challenges."

The panel is formatted this year as a TV talk show and has been renamed "CEO Dialogue" with Bell serving as the "Dialogue Host."
