CENTRAL PARKING REPORTS RECORD FIRST QUARTER RESULTS; NET EARNINGS UP 21%.NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 4, 1997--Central Parking Corporation (NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :PK) today announced record quarterly revenues and earnings for the first three months of the Company's 1997 fiscal year. Total revenues for the three months ended December 31, 1996, totaled $41.4 million, up 25% compared with $33.3 million in the year-earlier period. Operating earnings Operating Earnings Profits after subtracting expenses such as marketing, cost of goods sold, administration and general operating costs from revenue.
