NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 18, 1995--Monroe J. Carell, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Central Parking Corporation (NYSE NYSE

:PK), today announced that the Board of Directors has declared an initial quarterly cash dividend of $0.03 (three cents) per share of common stock. The dividend is payable January 5, 1996, to shareholders of record as of December 29, 1995.

Carell remarked, "The Board's action today follows the establishment of a policy of declaring regular, quarterly cash dividends. Future payments will depend, of course, on the Company's financial performance and capital requirements Capital requirements
