Auto-trol Technology today announced that its CENTRA 2000(tm) EDM/PDM product will soon be fully implemented following a successful pilot project at Church & Dwight Company, Inc., a manufacturer of many high-quality consumer and household products including the Arm & Hammer line. Church & Dwight's CENTRA 2000 system will manage approximately 3,000 product specifications related to testing procedures and results, chemical formulations, packaging, and FDA submittals. CENTRA 2000 is being used to store, control, and distribute the specifications so that all database users, regardless of location, will have access to the latest version of any specification. The move to CENTRA 2000 reflects Church & Dwight's continuing commitment to provide the highest quality products at the lowest cost. It also will facilitate Church & Dwight's adherence to rigorous FDA record keeping requirements.
