 CENTEX-RODGERS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY NAMES FOUR TO NEW POSTS
 NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Centex-Rodgers Construction Company announced today that it has made several significant personnel appointments. Nashville, Tenn.-based Centex-Rodgers is a subsidiary of Centex Construction Group, Inc., the fifth largest building contractor in the nation and a subsidiary of Centex Corporation, a NYSE company.
 Douglas H. Jones and Glenn Roger Pitts have been named vice president, Dennis R. Norvet is now vice president-marketing, and A. Ridgeway Miller has been appointed operations controller.
 Jones joined Centex-Rodgers in 1981 as a project manager and has held positions as senior project manager and construction manager. He is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Building Construction. Pitts, whose construction career spans two decades, became associated with Centex-Rodgers in 1991 as a senior project manager. He is a graduate of Carnegie Tech with a B.S. in engineering.
 Norvet is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Business Management and Economics. He has assumed responsibility for sales and marketing efforts at Centex-Rodgers.
 Miller joined the Centex Construction Group in 1988 as Financial Analyst. Miller received a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
 Other subsidiaries of the Centex Construction Group include: Centex Bateson Construction Company, Inc., headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Centex Golden Construction Company in San Diego and Arcadia, Calif., Centex-Rooney Construction Co., Inc., in Fort Lauderdale and Coral gales, Fla.; Centex-Great Southwest Corporation, based in Orlando, Fla.; Centex-Simpson Construction Company, Inc. in Fairfax, Va.; Centex-Hamby Construction, Inc. in Atlanta, Ga.; and Centex Rooney Thermac, Inc., in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Centex also has an industrial contracting firm, Forcum-Lannom Associates Inc., headquartered in Dyersburg, Tenn.
 Centex Corporation, the nation's largest residential Home Builder, also has operations in Mortgage Banking, Construction Products and Savings and Loan.
