CENTENNIAL TECHNOLOGIES And INTEL Announce CENTENNIAL'S New Generation Of Linear FLASH PC Cards.


WILMINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 17, 1997--CENTENNIAL TECHNOLOGIES, INC inc - /ink/ increment, i.e. increase by one. Especially used by assembly programmers, as many assembly languages have an "inc" mnemonic.

) announced today the introduction of CENTENNIAL'S new generation of linear FLASH PC Cards. CENTENNIAL'S latest product line, its FLASH MLC (MultiLevel Cell) A flash memory technology that stores more than one bit per cell. Traditional flash memory defines a 0 or 1 bit based on a single voltage threshold.  series, uses INTEL StrataFlash(TM) memory technology. These new products will provide CENTENNIAL'S customers with up to 64 megabytes of memory capacity, making the FLASH MLC series one of the highest density linear Flash cards offered on the market today.

By Intel co-founder Gordon Moore regarding the pace of semiconductor technology. He made this famous comment in 1965 when there were approximately 60 devices on a chip. ."
