CENTENARIAN DIES AT VALLEY HOME.

. for 25 years, died at his Northridge home Friday, two days after his 100th birthday.

Acquaintances said Nehms was in remarkably good condition until shortly before his death but was experiencing back and neck pain Friday night and fell in his home, where his wife, Beatrice, found him dead.

A program that delivers hot meals to persons, such as the elderly or disabled, who are confined to their homes and unable to cook for themselves; also, the meals thus delivered. Such programs are usually conducted by governmental or charitable organizations.  program. When Bernson learned Nehms was turning 100 on Wednesday, he instructed his staff to make the birthday party one of Nehms' best - with a cake, flowers and specially catered lunch and dinner.

Beatrice Nehms said that her husband was the son of a French ambassador and was born in Washington, D.C. ``They took his mother out of the French Embassy so that he could be born an American citizen,'' she said.

Beatrice Nehms said her husband served in the American armed forces in World War I and World War II and that the pair met when he was stationed in Denver during the second global conflict.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Patricia Bauer, of El Cajon El Cajon (ĕl kähōn`), city (1990 pop. 88,693), San Diego co., S Calif.; inc. 1912. Electronic equipment, aircraft parts, irrigation equipment, furniture, and men's suits are among its manufactures.  and a granddaughter. Funeral services are pending at Forest Lawn's Hollywood Hills The Hollywood Hills, an unofficial designation of part of the City of Los Angeles, California, are part of the eastern section of the low transverse range of the Santa Monica Mountains, which extends from the Los Feliz District and Hollywood, on the south side of the Valley, to  mortuary.
