CENSUS NEEDS HELP CHECKING ADDRESS.Byline: Patricia Farrell Aidem and Don Holland Daily News Staff Writers The U.S. Census is recruiting 90 workers to walk block-by-block in the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672. to confirm addresses for next year's national population count. ``Listers'' - workers who confirm and correct lists of addresses - will be paid $11.75 an hour, plus 31 cents a mile, and get in shape at the same time. The job will take at least 30 hours a week and run three to five weeks. Workers can set their own hours. The listers LISTERS.
