CENCALL COMMUNICATIONS HIRES FLOATHE JOHNSON AND HILL AND KNOWLTON FOR COMMUNICATIONS TEAM

 DENVER, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- CenCall Communications Inc. (NASDAQ: CCAL), a Denver-based leader in the rapidly growing specialized mobile radio (SMR) industry has named Floathe Johnson to handle its advertising account and has named Hill and Knowlton Inc. as agency of record for public relations and investor relations.
 CenCall raised more than $95 million last August in an initial public offering to help it build a new wireless digital communications network across 17 states. This network will give a customer using a small handset access to two-way radio dispatch, telephone and paging services, and will allow transmission of both voice and data. A major launch of the digital network is scheduled for next year in the Denver; Portland, Ore.; and Seattle markets.
 Floathe Johnson will provide brand development, advertising and media services for CenCall. Mark Johnson, CenCall's vice president of marketing, said Floathe Johnson's creative work and integrated approach to building a strong marketing program was the key factor in CenCall's decision to hire the agency, which competed with Young & Rubicam and The Evans Group for the account.

 Hill and Knowlton will provide comprehensive counsel and other public relations services encompassing all aspects of communications strategy, marketing communications, investor relations, media and community affairs.

 CenCall recently signed agreements in principle to acquire radio licenses from Motorola Inc. (NYSE: MOT), and Nextel Communications Inc. (NASDAQ: CALL). With these acquisitions, CenCall's coverage will reach more than 42 million potential customers, or "pops" in the Rocky Mountain region, the Pacific Northwest, the Plains states and the Midwest.
 CenCall is part of a consortium of SMR providers who are planning a nationwide network that will allow "roaming" -- the ability to travel anywhere without interruption in service -- for wireless communication customers.
 States where CenCall currently offers service or will at launch include Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Wyoming, Montana, Minnesota, Arizona, New Mexico, North and South Dakota, Iowa and south Illinois.
