CEMEX Successfully Completes Exchange for the New CPOs.MONTERREY, Mexico--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 14, 1999-- CEMEX CEMEX Cementos Mexicanos , S.A. de C.V. announced today that has successfully completed the share exchange of the A and B series for the New CPOs (Certificados de Participacion Ordinaria). The exchange offer, which concluded on Monday, September 13th in the United States, and today, September 14th in Mexico resulted in a 96% conversion rate of the A and B shares deposited at S. D. INDEVAL. The total amount of new CPOs outstanding is now 1,305,705,481.
