CELSOC Celebrates National Engineers Week by Honoring the 2007 Engineering Excellence Award Winners.

. The exhibit consists of forty-two panels depicting photographs and descriptions from the winning projects of CELSOC's annual Engineering Excellence Awards competition.

Marie-Paul-Hyacinthe Meyer (January 17, 1840 - September 7, 1917), was a French philologist.
. "The projects benefit local communities by addressing the public's health, safety and welfare while continuing to advance the profession using new and innovative techniques."

The top engineering projects range from water resources and flood protection studies and designs to large transportation projects such as highway expansions, bridges and public transit systems. All of the projects were judged by a panel of leading industry professionals in the public and private sectors.

The winning projects were chosen based upon their benefit to the community, the innovative application of new or existing techniques, value to the engineering profession, complexity, as well as social, economic and sustainable design considerations.
