CELERA GENOMICS HELPS DOCTORS FIND DISEASE CAUSING GENES.

Celera Genomics (NYSE: CRA), Rockville, Md., a PE Corporation business, has signed an agreement with The Hospital for Sick Children (HSC) in Toronto, Canada, that provides a multi-year subscription to certain Celera database products. The HSC subscribers will access Celera's database information through the Celera Discovery System(TM), the Web-based portal through which a variety of customers access Celera's expanding databases and analysis tools. Financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed. The annual subscription rates are dependent on the nature of the subscription, size of the institution, and the number of users.
