Hear ye Sarah Bettens, of the hot Belgian rock band K's Choice, has been getting lots of attention for her ``I'm Not an Addict'' song - some of it negative. ``When I wrote it, it never really crossed my mind that some people would interpret the song the wrong way,'' she shrugs. ``Addict'' is sung from the vantage point of a substance abuser in denial, and it's not pro-drug. Adds Bettens, ``Over the last couple of years I've realized that the percentage of people who really listen to lyrics and care about what I'm saying is about one in 100. And I've realized there are a lot of people who listen to my music I probably wouldn't get along with,'' she says. K's Choice is currently touring with Verve Pipe and Tonic, the members of which ``are very nice,'' Bettens says. ``We get together at the end of some of the shows and play, like maybe a Beatles song. We're lucky because we didn't really know the group going in, and if we hadn't gotten along, it could have been a disaster tour.''
