Star pupils receive their awards

HIGH flying pupils from Milverton House School, Park Street, Nuneaton, have received awards for academic excellence.

Every year the school recognises hard working pupils with a set of awards for achievement in different fields. Matthew Rowledge, who left the school two years ago, awarded Victoria Jones the Matthew Rowledge Bursary bur·sa·ry

Victoria, who is in year six, won the grant to enhance her education while at secondary school. Every year Matthew's parents grant the bursary to an exceptional pupil as a gesture of thanks to the school.

Sophie Bullen, year four, won the Mac Jones music award and Daniel Burnett, the year six head boy, won the Robert Taylor Robert Taylor or Bob Taylor may refer to:

Jessica, 12, attends Stoke Park School and Jodie, 11, attends Cannon Park Cannon Park is a suburb in the south-west of the City of Coventry, West Midlands, England. It can be accessed via the major roads Kenpas Highway (A45) or Kenilworth Road. The area has a shopping centre of the same name which features food stores, shops and eateries.  Junior School. Both belong to the International School of Skating at the Skydome Arena.

In June this year, they both competed at the Milton Keynes Open Competition. Jodie took first place and Jessica came second. In October last year at the Alexandra Palace, Jodie came first and Jessica came second.

Jessica has been ice-skating since last April and Jodie for just over two years. They both really enjoy the sport and rise at 6am four mornings a week to practise before they go to school. Caroline, of Wyken Crescent, Coventry, would like to say well done to Jodie and Jessica, and keep doing it for Coventry.
