CELEBRATE RICE HARVEST WITH INEKARI.Byline: - Addison Pate Today the Japanese American Japanese Americans (日系アメリカ人 Nikkei Amerikajin Cultural & Community Center presents Inekari: The Harvest Celebration, a family-oriented display of the importance of rice in Japanese and world cultures. Inekari is an outdoor celebration filled with hands-on craft activities for children and food booths offering rice (kome) edibles. In the evening, ``Mare Tranquillitatis Mare Tranquillitatis (Latin for Sea of Tranquility) is a lunar mare that sits within the Tranquillitatis basin on Earth's moon. The mare material within the basin consists of basalt in the intermediate to young age group of the Upper Imbrian epoch. (Sea of Tranquillity),'' an original piece created by artist Hirokazu Kosaka, will celebrate the harvest moon harvest moon, full moon occurring nearest to the autumnal equinox, about Sept. 23.
