XML-Based Content Management System

Belgium-based CEDITI and Sequoia Software, headquartered here, today announced formation of a strategic marketing and development agreement between the two firms.

The relationship will enable CEDITI, a value-added-reseller (VAR) and integrator of information technology in Europe, to resell and create new product packages with Sequoia Interchange2000 (i2K) or to use it in integration projects. Under the licensing agreement with Sequoia, CEDITI will be a direct distribution channel for i2K for Belgium providing training, technical support, marketing and sales.

The agreement takes effect immediately.

CEDITI, Sequoia's first European VAR, joins several major European-based technology leaders as strategic business allies with Sequoia, including Finland-based Datex-Ohmeda (NASDAQ:INMRY), and Lernout & Hauspie (NASDAQ: LHSPF, EASDAQ: LHSP.ED) (L&H) based both in the U.S. and Belgium.

i2K is an application framework for acquiring, managing, and presenting tailored, audience-specific information generated by disparate applications.

Business enterprises who embed i2K into their products and/or enterprises, who directly take advantage of i2K, are provided such features as a distributed XML and document repository, data distribution and replication services, XML publishing, XML data entry, standardised security, and workflow with content-based routing.
