Kings goaltender Roman Cechmanek will miss at least the next three games with a strained groin after the Kings placed him on injured reserve Friday.

Cechmanek was injured during the first period of the Kings' 4-3 loss to Dallas on Wednesday. He stayed in the game midway through the second period, when he was pulled after allowing his third goal.

``Groins are tricky injuries,'' Kings coach Andy Murray said. ``You just don't know Don't know (DK, DKed)
