CECC to approve summary on transferring powers to OGRA for determination of prices of furnace oil.

) will accord final approval to the summary on assigning powers to Oil and Gas Regulator Authority (OGRA OGRA Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (Pakistan)

) for determination of prices of furnace oil as well as draft on sale of ethanol mixed fuel. Ministry of petroleum sources told a summary about withdrawing the powers of determination of prices of furnace oil from oil marketing companies and transferring them to OGRA in order to keep them stable was forwarded to federal government 3 days earlier. This will be approved by CECC in its meeting taking place today under minister for investment Naveed Qamar. With the approval of summary, not only the prices of furnace oil will be brought under control but it will also enable the government to take steps to take action; to move in a matter.
