This project will help to render military facilities less vulnerable in case of a terrorist attack, allow full working restoration of a contaminated building and protect the people and forensic evidence which may be inside at the time of an attack. These are the same goals of many commercial buildings and hospitals, which have been subject to numerous types of infectious agents by occupants and/or unintentional releases. The firm will be providing design, build, and demonstration services of this new technology at a former army chemical weapons base.

The firm's decontamination technology could have far-reaching applications beyond the military decontamination efforts for SARS, Mad Cow Disease, Anthrax, Smallpox and various other pathogens. The technology also has promise for removing toxic substances from normal building materials that trigger allergies in persons with MCSS (multiple chemical sensitivity multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS), adverse physical reaction to certain chemicals in susceptible persons. When exposed to the chemicals, people with MCS react with symptoms such as nausea, headache, dizziness, fatigue, impaired memory, rash, and respiratory  syndrome).
