Shapiro's keynote address is slated for 2:15 p.m. Friday, July 6, at the Shangri-La Hotel in Qingdao. Shapiro will discuss the future of the worldwide consumer electronics industry and the global growth of the International CES, CEA's flagship event and the world's largest tradeshow for consumer technology.

The international scope of SINOCES continues to expand, with the 2007 show drawing the largest presence of U.S. consumer technology companies in show history. Key U.S. companies exhibiting at SINOCES 2007 include Apple, Dolby, GE, Gibson, Hewlett Packard and Intel. The 2006 SINOCES hosted 390 exhibitors, including 80 foreign exhibitors, and the number of international exhibitors in 2007 is expected to increase over 2006.

SINOCES 2007 will run July 6-9, 2007, at the Qingdao International Convention Center in Qingdao, China. SINOCES is the largest consumer electronics event in China and the only one endorsed by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the Chinese Ministry of Information Industry, the Chinese Ministry of Science & Technology, and the State Council.
