CEA Praises House Passage of CAFTA-DR; Trade Agreement Will Help Fuel Future Growth of Critical Consumer Technology Sector.

 Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR) last night:

"The consumer electronics industry congratulates the House of Representatives for approving the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR). With this vote, the House has taken a critical step toward knocking down the walls limiting free trade in this hemisphere. Congress has shown once again that it understands that liberalized trade rules mean benefits to the U.S. in the form of lower prices for consumers and expanded markets for our producers.

Opening these markets provides exciting new opportunities for further growth within the U.S. consumer technology industry.
