Additionally, CEA encouraged members of Congress and their staff to attend "Saving Energy with Electronics Day" on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. in the Capitol, Room HC-8 which will educate Members of Congress and their staff about the consumer electronics industry's efforts to promote and showcase a variety of energy-efficient products, including computers, televisions, solar and fuel-cell consumer electronics accessories and the latest in personal power consumption meters.

Beard's final 'Green the Capitol' report, which will include a more complete set of recommendations, is expected for completion on June 30, 2007.
