CEA Announces Launch Of CNET Countdown To CES: 30 Days of Innovation.

2010 CES Features Record Number of New Exhibitors

ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)([R]) announced the launch today of a new online feature entitled "Countdown to CES: 30 Days of Innovation" from CNET, its official online media partner for the 2010 International CES. With more than 330 new exhibitors, the 2010 CES will feature a record number of new exhibitors bringing innovative products and technologies to the CES show floor. Owned and produced by CEA, the 2010 International CES, the world's largest tradeshow for consumer technology, will be held January 7-10, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"Countdown to CES: 30 Days of Innovation" is located at http://www.cnet.com/ces/30-days-of-innovation/. For each of the 30 business days leading up to the 2010 International CES, CNET will profile an innovative technology company in software, hardware, and green tech that is new to CES.

* Friday, Jan. 8 at 10 a.m., PST: "Best of CES" Finalists announced at CNET Stage (South Hall 3, Upper Level Lobby). Voting for People's Voice award will be open until 10 a.m., PT on Jan. 10 at http://voice.cnet.com

* Friday, Jan. 8 at 2 p.m., PST: CNET senior editor Martin LaMonica will moderate a sustainability-focused panel which will include Green tech category finalists from the "Best of CES" Awards. The panel will be located at CEA's Sustainable Planet TechZone.

* Saturday, Jan. 9 at 11 a.m., PST: "Best of CES" Winners announcement and awards presentation at CNET Stage (South Hall 3, Upper Level Lobby) and live webcast at www.cnettv.com

The 2010 International CES will feature more than 2,500 exhibitors and an expected 110,000 attendees from 140 countries. As the launchpad of new technology, the 2010 CES will showcase some 20,000 new products across 30 different technology categories. Also known for its diverse and compelling conference programs, the 2010 CES will offer more than 250 conferences with 800 industry experts as speakers.
