In her new role, Ireland will focus primarily on identifying and analyzing new business opportunities. She will report to Barbara A. Klein, senior vice president and chief financial officer. Ireland most recently served as CDW's senior director, marketing operations and strategy, a position she had held since 2003. Ireland joined CDW in 2001 as director of investor relations and corporate development.

"Anne's background is an excellent combination of business development and finance, which will enhance CDW's ability to evaluate and capitalize on growth opportunities," said Klein. "Coupled with her in-depth knowledge of CDW's goals and strategies, she will enable us to act nimbly on a broad range of opportunities to drive CDW's continued success."

Prior to joining CDW, Ireland held positions in corporate development at Burns International, Allegiance Corporation and Baxter International.
