: CDWC CDWC Computer Discount Warehouse (stock symbol) ), a leading provider of technology products and services to business, government and education, today announced average daily sales for October 2006 were $28.867 million, an increase of 12.7 percent compared to average daily sales of $25.605 million for October 2005. Total sales for October 2006 were $635.1 million, an increase of 18.1 percent compared to total sales of $537.7 million for October 2005. There were 22 billing days in October 2006 and 21 billing days in October 2005.

As previously announced, CDW completed the acquisition of Berbee Information Networks Corporation on October 11, 2006. October 2005 sales results do not include Berbee sales, while October 2006 sales included 14 days of sales made by Berbee coworkers.

Excluding Berbee sales in October 2006, CDW's average daily sales for 22 days in October 2006 were $27.703 million, an increase of 8.2 percent compared to average daily sales for 21 days in October 2005 of $25.605 million. Excluding Berbee sales in October 2006, total sales for October 2006 were $609.5 million, an increase of 13.3 percent compared to total sales of $537.7 million for October 2005.

Average daily sales for the public sector segment increased 18.1 percent and average daily sales for the corporate sector segment increased 3.5 percent compared to the prior year period. Public sector and corporate sector sales exclude Berbee sales.

Product categories that achieved the strongest year-over-year unit volume growth for the month on an average daily basis included: notebook CPUs, software, printers, video, memory and input devices. Product categories exclude Berbee sales.

The Company plans to announce November 2006 sales on Monday, December 11, 2006. November 2005 had 21 billing days and November 2006 will have 21 billing days.
