The GSA sets policy for and manages government property and records.  (GSA (1) (Global mobile Suppliers Association, Sawbridgeworth, U.K., www.gsacom.com) A membership organization of suppliers of GSM products and services. The contract period of performance runs through March 31, 1999. CDSI ITS estimates it could receive $5 million of purchase orders during Fiscal Year 1997. There is no ceiling on the amount of work CDSI ITS could receive under this contract.

"This GSA multiple award contract allows all federal agencies easy access to a wide variety of CDSI ITS' information technology services," said CDSI ITS President Mary Ann Mayhew. "We are excited about this opportunity to expand our current business base by offering high-end IT services to the entire federal market place."

Such GSA MAS contracts, once reserved only for the sale of commercial products, now allow contractors to enter into purchase orders for services directly with all federal agencies, mixed government corporations and the District of Columbia District of Columbia, federal district (2000 pop. 572,059, a 5.7% decrease in population since the 1990 census), 69 sq mi (179 sq km), on the east bank of the Potomac River, coextensive with the city of Washington, D.C. (the capital of the United States). . Unlike CDSI's other IDIQ IDIQ Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (contracting/procurement)  contracts, these contracts afford GSA and other customers eligible to use GSA contracts with prices, terms, and conditions once afforded only to CDSI ITS' commercial customers. For example, in addition to offering commercially competitive prices, these contracts remove the need for a government agency "middle man" and eliminates many regulations otherwise required under CDSI's other federal contracts.

CDSI ITS information technology services available through this GSA vehicle include client/server integration, network and telecommunications implementation, and desktop integration services. Computer Data Systems, Inc., founded in 1968, is a recognized leader in providing broad-based information technology solutions for government and commercial customers.
