CDS Data Capture Services Momentum Continues to Build with Customer Wins, Outstanding Revenue Growth and Expanded Operations Facilities.

(CDS), a subsidiary of The Hearst Corporation, today announced that its Data Capture Services unit in Prescott, AZ, continues to achieve exceptional results in the financial services, specialty processing and utility markets. New customers cite CDS' superior price performance, flexibility and overall total customer experience as reasons for selecting it.

CDS had strong year-over-year revenue and transaction growth (up 60 percent and 39 percent, respectively, in 2005) in its Prescott facility. As proof of the superior value and customer experience provided by CDS Data Capture Services, a substantial number of existing customers continue to increase the transaction volumes outsourced to CDS. One client increased the number of transactions it outsourced to CDS by 55 percent.

The unit recently purchased a high-speed System 150 mail extraction device, hired a full-time technical support person, and expanded its office space by 2,000 square feet for mail handling, returns processing and records management. With orders already in hand, the Prescott facility expects to increase its data capture services volume by 35 percent this year. The site also anticipates hiring additional management.
